Russ Bishop, our esteemed owner, founder, and head trainer, brings over a decade of expertise in training Belgian Malinois, German and Czech Shepherds, and Dutch Shepherds. Starting his journey in 2012 as a Police K-9 Handler with American Fork City, he was certified in narcotic and patrol disciplines alongside his German Shepherd, Wolf, through the Utah P.O.S.T K-9 Program.

In the field, Russ and Wolf excelled in drug detection, finding missing people, and apprehending suspects. His tenure as a K-9 Handler enriched his skills in working with and caring for working-line dogs. As Wolf neared retirement, Russ selected two Belgian Malinois, Ryder, and Creed, for the department in 2014. He achieved his “Instructor” status at P.O.S.T in just two years, a testament to his dedication and expertise.

Russ's unique certification from P.O.S.T, endorsed by the U.S. Supreme Court for expertise in dog psychology, behavior modification, and canine development, sets him apart in his field.

Additionally, Russ has played a pivotal role in selling, training, and developing several dogs over the years, sold to police departments and private owners. These dogs have served actively and have been at the forefront of some of the most notable criminal apprehensions, leading the field with their impeccable performance.
Under Russ's guidance, these dogs have worked diligently until retirement, contributing significantly to public safety and law enforcement efforts. His commitment to excellence ensures that both dogs and handlers achieve their highest potential, especially in critical, life-dependent situations.
